Fusion Day is about celebrating the academic achievement of our students.

We're definitely a community, so it's fun to see people I know and love up there presenting their research.

I think it's a bright day for Drury.

If this can take hold and flourish you I started my day with a grant proposal for a project that I've been really passionate about.

Springfield does not treat currently for micro plastics in any regard, and then I'm changing my focus completely to a different project that talks about worldwide culture and diversity.

I'm taking these two very different aspects of myself and my research, and I can still bring them together.

This complementarity allows me to appreciate the spirit of fury, which is that multi dimensional thinking.

I was impressed by the presentations we had today.

There's nothing more important, honestly, than getting involved in your community, because once you leave university, that's where you're going to be.

The students this morning and the certificate panels presented amazing projects.

Ultimately, I want to be a lawyer.

So this certificate really felt ironed in hand as to what it means to be a leader.

You have to take the certificate to find out.

It develops a sense of poise and confidence that there really is no other way to develop unless you stand up in front of people and you articulate and you answer questions and you talk about that work.

We have about 270 posters with students talking about their research and scholarship.

And what you'll see is that the room is packed with students presenting with community members, with Board of Trustee members, with other students really engaging with them and learning about about this work.

It's fantastic, and it's unique to jury.

I did not know what I was gonna major in when I got here, and I actually see dr Browning sitting right back there in that chair, and I can't wait to shake your hand.

You and I had a great conversation one time in your office when I was really struggling with the demands of basketball, and I really appreciate that.

So good to see you.

That's fantastic.

Every day is a learning experience that you must fuse with your skills and your abilities.

That is something that I learned at drawing, and I've carried it with me ever since.

If there's a will, there's power, because you have the power to make things happen.

The Fusion talks were absolutely incredible.

So what does diversity, equity and inclusion mean?

That's a process known as reuptake microplastics are permeating our lives.

They've done work far beyond what you would expect for an undergraduate student at the lowest point in my life, I was introduced to the lost and found grief center.

Telling everyone about my mom and sharing my grief journey is something that I'm really passionate about.

A lot of my marketing background came to having to market for my event.

My original goals for the project, when I first started planning was to have 50 people in attendance and to raise $1,000 I had 62 people at the event.

I ended up raising over $3,000 and so it's been really great.

I'm surrounded by a great community here at Drury, and I've really noticed that build throughout my four years here.
